Brag Alert! Crowning Glory

My little Rock Star! Ski Season in Telluride has come to an end. She had ski PE every Tuesday afternoon for 11 or 12 weeks! TMS has an amazing awards ceremony at the base of the ski gondola at the closing of the season. Ms. Sophia took home Most Improved and the coveted Coaches Award for embodying the school's mission as well as their motto: WORK HARD, PLAY HARD. More video here.

Congrats to your little beauty. We have no mountains here, only funny bumps that ND calls the Turtle Mountains! We just cross-country ski and no one would be giving me an award for that. Great job. I love good students. Must be the teacher in me!

Way to go Miss Sophia. We already knew that she was a star, but now she has the crowns to prove it.

SHE IS SO CUTE!!!!! and she skis? that is wild. especially that she is good at it. but i hear it is best to learn when you are young and fearless, and not old and klutzy (like me).

Awww. I LOVE it! What a great little skier. I used to be a ski instructor...and just looking at that snow and the chairlift made me salivate (as I sit outside under the swaying palms). I know. Kick me now, but I think I truly love snow more than swaying palms.

My kids used to go to a school where PE was skiing...every Friday. What a gift!

Enjoy every second...and congrats to your little snowball!

Yay, Sophia!!! Congratulations on your much-deserved recognition! It won't be long before you are ripping down the double blacks! And of course, kudos to you, Mom and Dad, for making the trek up to T'ride every day to give the little sweetness such wonderful opportunities as are offered at TMS.

Hugs, xo Michelle
